JOHN SANDBACH MEMORIAL PRIZE
Katharine Spindler, a CIPFA financial management trainee from Hertfordshire County Council was awarded the 2004 John Sandbach award at a ceremony held at CETC South East in London on 15 July 2005. The award is presented to the CETC student achieving the highest marks at Diploma or P2 level of study in the CIPFA professional qualification examinations. 25-07-05 More...

ESSENTIALS SKILLS COURSES - Getting to grips with IPDS
Now that you have embarked on your CIPFA studies it is a good time to consider the Initial Professional Development Scheme (IPDS). You may have read the CIPFA handbook, but do you understand what is required? CETC are offering a number of one -day 'Essential Skills' courses in August 2005 to guide you smoothly through IPDS.

IPDS morning workshop for CIPFA employers
How does the new Initial Professional Development Scheme impact on CIPFA employers? If you work in the Midlands region and would like to find out more CIPFA, in conjunction with the Borough of Telford and Wrekin, are offering a morning workshop at the Civic Offices in Telford on 25th April from 10.30am to 12.00pm.

Graham Foster, CIPFA Development Manager and Gary Gilbert, Head of CETC will both be in attendance to discuss the scheme.
