Fantastic Results for CETC Students
CETC students who attended day/block releases courses leading to the June 2007 Professional Accountancy Qualification exams will be pleased to know they have contributed to a fantastic set of pass rates with many modules receiving record pass rates.
The CETC average pass rates exceeds that of the CIPFA national average (the pass rate of all students, including those studying at CETC) for every single module, in some instances by as much as 21%. Several groups had extremely high pass rates, with many topping 100%, these incude:
- FA students at CETC Midlands - 100% pass rate
- LM students at CETC East Scotland - 100% pass rate
- FR students at CETC Wales - 100% pass rate
- FMST students at CETC Wales - 100% pass rate
- FPR students at CETC Wales - 100% pass rate
Other groups with particularly high pass rates were:
- Tax students at CETC Midlands - 95% pass rate
- FA course 1 students at CETC South East - 93% pass rate
- FMST at CETC West of England - 92% pass rate
- FMST course 1 students at CETC South East - 91% pass rate
- FMST students at CETC East Scotland - 90% pass rate
- FR course 1 students at CETC South East - 90% pass rate
On CETC's bespoke and in-house programmes, students also performed well:
- Students studying the 6 modules on the Department for Work and Pensions in-house programme in Leeds (which also now includes students from other organisations in the area) gained 100% in 4 of the modules - FR, FMST, FPR, and SBM - and 89% in AA and 91% in FMCS.
- Students in the FR/FMST/PF PAQ Fast Track bespoke group at CETC South East all passed each of these modules as did those on the other fast track course studying ADM and GPP.
The table below shows CETC pass rates compared to the CIPFA average (all students regardless of their method of study or provider) and the average without CETC's pass rates (therefore showing the pass rates for students who studied with other providers or via open learning).
