DWP Students Celebrate Awards Success

CETC Students on DWP In-House Course Win Awards

Several students studying at CETC's in-house course for the Department for Work & Pensions, which takes place in Leeds and is open to students from other employing organisations to attend, celebrated winning awards at an event organised by the Southern Division of the North Eastern CIPFA Student Society on Thursday 26th July.

The second annual award ceremony and quiz night was held in Leeds and attended by over 50 people including CIPFA President John Butler who was there to present the awards.

This news comes not long after the success of a DWP student in being awarded the 2007 CETC John Sandbach Memorial prize for best performance at the Diploma level exams in 2006.
