| Support for Re-sitters |
Re-stting a paper can be a frustrating experience and daunting going it alone. As ever, CETC want to help you pass and as such provide a range of options for re-sitters for you to pick and choose from. These are ideal for you if you have to re-sit a paper and don't wish to attend the main added value course.
You can read about the options we have available below along with information on the price, availability, and how to enrol.
Script Feedback
Understanding the areas of the syllabus you could improve on will
help prepare you for the next exam and the best way to know which areas
need more work is to receive feedback on your exam script. CETC's script
feedback service means that you can receive feedback from a tutor with
expertise on the particular module who will pinpoint what you did well
and what you need to work on and comments which will help your overall
performance.

Cost: £95 plus vat |
Tailored Mock Exams
As part of the main course CETC provides a mock exam for students
to sit in exam conditions, if you're going it alone then you'll miss out
on this vital indicator of your performance before sitting the exam. CETC
can provide you with a mock exam which you can choose to sit at your nearest
CETC college or at home or work and then submit to CETC for marking and
feedback. If you attended a CETC course last term then we will ensure
it isn't a mock exam you sat during this course.

Cost: £95 plus vat |
FMCS Mock Exams
Practising sitting case studies is the best way to prepare for the
intensive FMCS paper. However, only a limited number of case studies are
available as part of the Open Learning Material so CETC has made more
available for CIPFA students. You can find out more about how the Ad Hoc
Case Study mock exam service works here.
|
Cost: £95 plus vat for mock exam, £175 plus
vat for mock exam and feedback tutorial. |
Revision Courses
CETC provides an extensive programme of revision courses in the month
preceding the CIPFA exams. Typically 1-3 day's duration the courses will
help hone your knowledge of the module and are geared towards providing
the techniques necessary to succeed in the exam. A number of exam standard
questions will also be included in the revision course material.
|

the module, prices can be seen on the Revision Courses page here

short course for instance for the June 2007 exams a 2-day Financial Reporting
course was available to help resit students become familiar with the International
Accounting Standards.

Meeting with a tutor face-to-face to discuss your particular learning
needs or concerns about the syllabus can prove extremely useful. You can

requirements.
|
